Service Description

Students ages 9 and up will learn techniques, relevant art history plus use and care of materials as they pursue fun, challenging projects. Subject matter will be meaningful as it is student choice within a specified theme /media for each project.  Lessons may include dry media: graphite, chalk pastels, oil pastels, colored pencil, paper /fabric collage & wet media: watercolor and acrylic paint, printmaking. We may mix media & may do a 3-D project. A few of the basic techniques taught: use of shading, ruler & measuring, image transfer, perspective, cutting/safety skills, brush selection and control, understanding & use of color wheel.... much more. Registration/supplies deposit ($65 non-refundable) includes all supplies for the semester unless student desires something unusual or oversized. See sibling discount coupon at checkout.
