About Tyler Art School:
Teaching art is so fulfilling, I have opened Tyler Art School. Here, at my home (3615 Woodbine Blvd.) I've created a bright, sunny & spacious teaching studio for small classes. I care about my students &
we get to know each other well!
School-year semester art lessons for students age 7.5 and older begin after Labor Day with a second semester starting in January. The classes focus, in a relaxed way, on developing essential foundational skills in drawing, painting, collage, and printmaking (with an occasional 3-D project). Lessons are based on the Elements of Art & the Principles of Design and contain meaningful references to Art History.
Summer art camps for kiddos are are a week pure fun & lots of artsy-crafty projects June-mid August!
Private lessons are available, email or text me.
Should online lessons become necessary they will be available for 3-6 students per class.

Covid 19 info, if needed:
Classes limited to 9 students.
Students will not share supplies and will bring their own water bottle and snack.
Art room has 8 windows which when open provide excellent ventilation.
9 / class. no mask required.
After school students:
9 /class. no mask required.
If a temporary switch to online classes is necessary, I am set up for that (in small groups we have had fun and the ability to provide personal attention & feedback). Supplies will be provided.
Summer Camp registration will open March 11, 2023!
