Homeschool Art Wednesday 1:30-3 /ages 6+

Class Info

Students ages 6 and up will learn age appropriate drawing / painting / mixed media techniques & relevant art history plus use/care of materials as they pursue fun, challenging projects. Subject matter will be meaningful as it is student choice within a specified theme /media for each project.  Lessons may include dry media: graphite, chalk pastels, oil pastels, colored pencil, paper /fabric collage & wet media: watercolor, acrylic paint & printmaking.. We may mix media & may do a 3-D project. A few of the basic techniques taught: use of shading, ruler & measuring, image transfer, perspective, cutting/safety skills, brush selection and control, understanding & use of color wheel.... much more. This class is taught by fun, energetic team teachers Chelsea Bretherick, BFA and Lorianne Hubbard, MFA . In your first payment is supplies deposit ($85 non-refundable). This includes all supplies for the semester. Makeup classes available within the semester.
