Class Info
Students ages 9 and up will learn drawing & painting techniques & relevant art history plus use/care of materials as they pursue fun, challenging projects. Subject matter will be meaningful as it is student choice within a specified theme /media for each project. Lessons may include dry media: graphite, chalk pastels, oil pastels, colored pencil, paper /fabric collage & wet media: watercolor, acrylic paint & printmaking. We may mix media & may do a 3-D project. A few of the basic techniques taught: use of shading, ruler & measuring, image transfer, perspective, cutting/safety skills, brush selection and control, understanding & use of color wheel.... much more. Your first payment includes non-refundable supplies fee of $75 covering all supplies for the semester unless student desires something unusual or oversized. See sibling discount coupon at checkout. Cancellation Policy
Refunds are not issued for missed classes however makeup classes are available during the same semester. Initial deposit is non-refundable. If circumstances require withdrawal, a prorated portion of tuition will be issued.
